We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization devoted to promoting research and scholarship on the artist Amedeo Modigliani (1884-1920). We have two main activities:
-We are filling a very sophisticated, state-of-the-art software system with scientific data, object info, biographical information, exhibition and auction catalogue references, etc., on Modigliani.
-We are launching a catalogue raisonné of the artist, giving priority to the valid yet hitherto unacknowledged paintings by his hand.
-Our Modigliani Drawings Research Service is launched! Please check our new link titled "Drawings" for all details and instructions.
Our next meeting for our Committee of Experts is coming up in late March (2022) and we are accepting Submission Forms now. If you would like to participate, please e-mail us as soon as possible so that we can start a file on your work, plan accordingly and guide you through the process. Please click on the link "Catalogue Raisonne" for forms and information and email us at email@example.com.
The exhibition "Modigliani and His Contemporaries" will be on view at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka, Japan this spring. Director of The Modigliani Project, Kenneth Wayne, wrote an essay for the exhibition catalog and will be giving a lecture there (details forthcoming).
